Abstract
The goals achieved in the application of information and communication technologies in the healthcare sector have great potential for use also in the world of work, both for the prevention of risks at work and for the protection of the health of workers who, due to the reduced work activity capacity or pathologies and frailty, also linked to advanced age, require constant monitoring and/or assistance. At the same time, their use poses problems both for the protection of the rights of the person, especially in terms of confidentiality and controls, and for the identification of the person responsible for the guarantee, be it the employer or the welfare state.
I traguardi raggiunti nell’applicazione delle tecnologie dell’informazione e della comunicazione dell'ambito della cura della salute hanno grandi potenzialità d’impiego anche nel mondo del lavoro, sia per la prevenzione dei rischi sul lavoro sia per la tutela della salute dei lavoratori che, portatori di ridotta capacità di lavoro, di patologie e fragilità anche legate all’età avanzata, richiedono monitoraggio e/o assistenza costante. Al contempo, il loro impiego pone problemi sia per la tutela dei diritti della persona, soprattutto in tema di riservatezza e controlli, sia per individuare il soggetto responsabile della garanzia, se il datore di lavoro o lo Stato sociale.
Objectives
The main objectives of the research activity are to identify the potential for using ICTH to protect the health of workers, in particular fragile workers, also in terms of risk prevention; the impact that their use can have on the rights of the individual and the impact that they can have on the regulation of the employment relationship and on social security profiles, hypothesizing regulatory solutions that also reflect on the role that collective bargaining can have.
Gli obiettivi principali dell’attività di ricerca consistono nell’individuare le potenzialità di impiego delle ICTH per la tutela della salute dei lavoratori soprattutto fragili, anche in chiave di prevenzione dei rischi; l’impatto che il loro impiego può avere sui diritti della persona e l’incidenza che essi possono avere sulla regolazione del rapporto di lavoro e sui profili di sicurezza sociale, ipotizzando soluzioni regolative anche riflettendo sul ruolo che può avere la contrattazione collettiva.
